South Australian Helicopters was born from a passion for adventure, an attraction to adrenaline, and desire to do things a little differently.

Founder and pilot, Zac Taylor, first took to the skies in 2018 and in 2021 he turned his passion into a full-time job, launching South Australian Helicopters. With an Agronomy and Livestock based background, Zac is now able to channel his love for the land with agricultural air work.

Today, the South Australian Helicopters offering has expanded to include bespoke experiences and tailored adventures, delivering the best of what South Australia has on offer. The fleet includes three helicopters, with two Robinson R22s and a four-seater Robinson R44. The Robinson R22s are used for station work across even the most remote parts of South Australia to ensure speed and agility, while the Robinson R44 provides exceptional visibility and comfort, used predominantly for tours and experiences.
